Hiking and Biking Trail
Hiking and Biking Trail
Enjoy the beautiful Wadleigh Arm trail (see map) located on the east side of the lake. This trail is perfect for a quiet leisurely stroll, jog or bike ride away from the campgrounds and a great place for scenic and wildlife photography. The out-and-back trail starts at the cul-de-sac located near our Eagles nest and follows the east shoreline for approximately 2 miles to a turn around for a 4 mile round trip. The trail is a dirt road and accessable by bike, but be aware of the "goathead" thorns that can puncture the most rugged tires.
You are also welcome to ride around the paved campground roads, however you must share the road with vehicle traffic, so use caution.
For the more serious road rider, Lake Casitas is the perfect start and end point for HWY 150 road rides to Santa Barbara, Santa Paula and beyond.
